Basho does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data, usage data, or analytics of any kind. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no network requests, and no third-party SDKs.
The only data the app keeps is stored locally on your own device, and never leaves it: specifically, which poems you've opened, used solely to fade a poem's card after you've read it. This information is stored using iOS's standard local app storage (UserDefaults) and is deleted automatically if you delete the app.
Because no data is collected, there is nothing to sell, share, or use for advertising or tracking, and nothing for us to disclose to third parties.
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds a feature that requires data collection — this page will be updated and the change will be described here before it takes effect.
